Euphonic Dissonance returns to THE CUBE

Brian brings us new photos from the CUBED PROJECT. Sarah Star and Brian Copeland inside a box.

Five years ago I participated in Geoffrey Hicks' cubed project. During 18 months from 2005 to 2006 Geoffrey photographed one hundred different individuals inside a white cube. Wanting to create a uniquely interactive way to display the series as a single piece, he created a special digital picture frame with an integrated sensor. As a viewer walked up to the display, the photographs changed based on the viewer’s distance to the screen. This is how the project was presented to the public in gallery.

Now it is 2010 and Geoffrey is returning to this unique project but this time he's raising the bar to include one thousand individuals into the format. Here are photos of Sarah and I inside Geoff's cube. Enjoy. Lovely work Geoffrey. Looking forward to seeing this project when it's finished.

Here are some of Brian's pictures from the previous project 5 years ago.

Please leave comments and tell us what you think of the new pics.
